Healthy Living at Your Library: Cooking Well at Any Age, Oct. 14

Please join us and our partner Jill Nussinow, The Veggie Queen, for a cooking demonstration using seasonal vegetables from local farmers markets. Jill has been teaching people about the joys of eating whole food, plant-based meals for the past 30 years. She is a registered dietitian and cookbook author who awakens people to vegetable possibilities.

No matter what time it is in your life, eating well makes a difference for your health. It’s never too early or too late to eat better-for-you foods. Learning to cook is essential to doing just that. This class will address easy cooking tips and techniques for making tasty and healthful plant-based foods, whether you are 18 or 81, or anywhere in between. All are welcome. Samples will be provided.

Pre-registration is required. Please call (707) 838-1020 or stop by the library to reserve your spot today.

When and where: Saturday, October 14 at 2-3:30 p.m. at the Windsor Regional Library, 9291 Old Redwood Highway, Building 100, Windsor
