Winter Healthy Living Fair Saturday on West Side – Charleston Gazette

From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, the West Virginia Wellness Community and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation will present the Winter Healthy Living Fair of 2018 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 520 Kanawha Blvd., W., on Charleston’s West Side.

Admission is free.

Raffle tickets will be sold to win services and products provided by the vendors.

A special menu of the traditional African meals of Cameroon will be for sale throughout the event and prepared by Naweh Amibang.

Along with featured speakers and vendors, the fair will include hands-on demonstrations and participation in Tai Chi, Qigong, meditations, massage therapy, healing herbs, reiki and natural products. All are focused on winter seasonal health, preventative methods, detoxing and cleansing.

This event is the first of several health fairs to be presented in 2018 by the West Virginia Wellness Community, each with the emphasis on natural healing and healthy lifestyles for all generations.
